Calculate z-scores and normal ranges for 80+ echocardiographic measures including m-mode, 2D, and Doppler; generate z-score graphs.
While browsing, I more-or-less stumbled upon a great website put together by the good folks at Children's Mercy Hospital (Kansas City, MO). The depth and breadth of measurements is astonishing, as is the number of observations from which the reference values are generated.
I understand an article is forthcoming— destined to be the largest and most encompassing work to date on normative values for pediatric echocardiography.

Please be patient, as the calculation engine can take a few moments. If anyone would like more info on how these growth models were developed, please contact me at wdrake@cmh.edu

With so many "norms" to choose from, It is sometimes difficult to know whose data to use. I am looking forward to a Z score smackdown that I'm sure Dan Dyar can incorporate with previous postings. Next steps: Universal Pediatric Echo Z values...& incorp these values into available proprietary programs clinical use.

Interestingly, with regards to a universal z-score algorithm, the Mercy Children's data seems to have been developed to provide specific regional-- rather than universal-- data.
I still want to see what the ASE's Z-Score Writing Project comes up with...
